A message from the Past Commander:  John Sperzel

We need more!  More physical help with "boots-on-the-ground" for our fund raising efforts,  more donations from our members and more participation in our monthly meetings. We need your help.

YOU!

The members of the Disabled Veterans of America, Ashland, Ohio  Chapter 81 are members of a very exclusive, club

You have to pass muster that few others can pass.  You are VERY SPECIAL. You are, in some way, a disabled American veteran, and you are disabled because you served...You served unselfishly and were damaged in some way doing it.  Now you belong to an organization that is absolutely dedicated to helping other veterans.

We need you to serve again!

However, this time, you won't be damaged or hurt...You will be rewarded with the pride and satisfaction that comes from your innate generosity and the knowledge that you helped a fellow veteran in their hour of NEED.

Your comrades need you as they are the ones who are now "hurt."

Why? If we don't help these deserving men and women...Who will??  A lot of these good men are headed for a human "scrap yard" and we must do everything we can to give them aid and comfort.  To accomplish this mission we need donations of your time, your money, and most of all, your support.

Please remember that since the inception of the Disabled American Veteran's organization, our core value has been, and remains to this day, service, and support.  Service and support for  ALL American veterans is what we offer but we simply can't do it alone.  It's a daunting task.

If you would like to donate your time, resources or money to our worthy cause please contact me at lhewitt@davashlandohio.org or call me at 419.281.2613, and I will be more than happy to tell you more about our mission.

At any rate, thank you for what you have done.

A message from your First Vice Commander:   Doug Deane
